Music Therapy Groovist Rehabilitation

by Ken Elkind
(Phoenix, AZ U.S.A.)

I was brain injured by crashing my bicycle. Recovery enlists many rehabilitation strategies. Although I questioned many rehab techniques, there was one that had a profound effect on my recovery; Grooving in a drum circle. As we now know, music therapy can be highly effective. Gathering with a large crowd, all Grooving with a single beat was a strong energizer. Doing this on a global level seemed obviously an even stronger therapy. So I created a web site to emit a pulse that all people could "Be at One" with. www.groovism.net exudes The One pulse, that will unite humanity. Although still in the construction phase, it will, hopefully become an official non-profit organization that will be "built" by a web builder with the skills needed to make it a viable, working, website!
