Carolinas Rehabilitation is located in Charlotte. "Research efforts at Carolinas Rehabilitation focus on generating knowledge that will support the integration of individuals with TBI disabilities into their communities. Carolinas Rehabilitation is honored to be one of 14 centers in the United States named "TBI Model System" by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research. This involvement allows access and participation in a national database for the purpose of sharing knowledge about recovery following TBI, long-term problems and TBI-related medical issues. The result of such research and access to information helps to improve rehabilitation outcomes among the TBI population. Participation in this research is voluntary, confidential and offered at no additional cost to the patient. " Learning Services is located in Raleigh, Durham & Creedmoor.
