The program addresses the unique medical, physical, cognitive, psychosocial, behavioral, vocational, educational and recreational needs of persons with an acquired brain injury. The program encompasses care that enhances the lives of the persons served in their families/ support systems, communities and life roles. Each client is assessed to determine his/her level of functioning related to: Impairments, (problems with body function), Activity (execution of tasks-activities of daily living), Participation (involvement in life situations-employment, community activities)."
New England Rehabilitation Hospital is located in Portland.
