Timber Ridge Ranch is located in Benton. "Timber Ridge Ranch NeuroRestorative Services offers a spectrum of living environments from highly structured inpatient care to less-structured transitional settings. Each progressive environment provides opportunities to approximate the client's optimal discharge setting while allowing clinical teams to observe and prescribe necessary treatment, adaptive equipment, and appropriate living settings for clients and families.

The facility is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for its Brain Injury Programs: Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs (Adults and Children); Long-Term Inpatient Services (Adults). The Arkansas Department of Human Services licenses both adult and pediatric programs.

Comprehensive, individualized services from a transdisciplinary team of licensed professionals assist clients along a course to greater independence. A separate team is dedicated to the needs of children, adolescents and their families."

HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital is located in Fort Smith. "Early rehabilitation is critical to help patients achieve their fullest potential after brain injury. HealthSouth has established a rehabilitation program that helps patients achieve and maximize functional and cognitive recovery following a brain injury. The program enables patients to become more self-sufficient and understand how to avoid future health problems."

Baptist Health Rehab Institute is located in Little Rock. "The trauma of brain injury may cross the entire spectrum of medical, physical, cognitive, behavioral, emotional and psychological problems. Because of this, BHRI provides a team of rehabilitation professionals who have specialized training in the treatment of individuals with brain injuries and work together to meet the needs of each patient and family.

...The staff of BHRI utilize a team approach to rehabilitation. The goal of our program is to minimize the disability and help each patient achieve the highest possible level of independence. We also place a high priority on helping the patient's family deal with the effects of the injury. Both the patient and family are key members of the rehabilitation team and assist in goal setting and discharge planning. Staff and patient/family conferences assure a unified approach to the special concerns and problems related to brain injury. ...The Brain Injury Program offers services from inpatient rehabilitation through community re-entry and outpatient therapy."

St. Vincent Rehabilitation Hospital is located in Sherwood. "Stroke is a disease that affects the arteries of the brain. A stroke occurs when a blood vessel bringing blood and oxygen to the brain gets blocked or ruptures so brain cells don’t get the flow of blood that they need. Deprived of oxygen, nerve cells can’t function and die within minutes. And when nerve cells don’t function, the part of the body they control can’t function either. The devastating effects of stroke are often permanent because dead brain cells can’t be replaced.

The Center works to improve the odds for stroke patients through a fully integrated and multidisciplinary approach to evaluating, treating and rehabilitating patients with acute stroke. Because of its multidisciplinary approach along the entire continuum of care, St. Vincent Stroke Center offers several unique advantages to help patients return to and maintain his or her highest level of function. Our team of experienced stroke rehabilitation specialists work closely with the patient and family."
