Brain Injury Awareness Fair

The Congressional Brain Injury Task Force is hosting a brain injury awareness fair for members of congress Wednesday, March 25, 2009.

Leading the panel discussion is Col.Michael Jaffee, MD, National Director of the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center. Other panel members include:

Lieutenant General Clyde Vaughn, Director of the Army National Guard

Dr. James Kelly, Director of the National Intrepid Center of Excellence for Traumatic Brain Injury

Dr. Andrew Tucker, President of NFL Team Physicians Society and Head Team Physician of Baltimore Ravens

Chris Nowinski, Founder of the Sports Legacy Institute, Author, & Former WWE Professional Wrestler

The subject of the panel discussion will be Mild Traumatic Brain Injury - From the Football Field to the Battlefield.

The panel will be hosted in the Cannon Caucus Room from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. and will be followed by a reception from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in room 526 at the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
